Annual Garden Bird Count
Meet 9 am
'Under the Clock' at Grand Central Station, New York, NY
Please purchase your ticket beforehand to Botanical Garden on the Harlem Line of Metro-North Railroad.
Bring your binoculars and join us for the Garden's annual year-end bird count. Some of the species seen on previous counts included great blue heron, sharp-shinned and Cooper's hawks, and great horned owl.
Cost: $10 (does not include admission cost - if applicable; transportation, etc.)

Well, birds are notoriously difficult subjects - they're small and they're fleeting - and it was hard to get too many good pictures. "Thank you for organizing the bird walk on Saturday. As it was my very first bird walk, that day will be a special memory I will treasure for many years to come. The location in itself was enough to make the day memorable - the Conservatory Gardens at Central Park with Great Egrets flying above - but that was not enough - it was the professionalism of our guide and the warmth and beauty of all 15 people in attendance that greatly touched my heart. Many thank yous again for organizing the event - and for sheparding such a lovely group of people through your leadership in the Manhattan Bird Club.
